This custom project was an extensive architectural renovation of a previously untouched 1980's styled brick home, located right on the beach in the Sapphire suburb.
The existing ground level floor was demolished and then rebuilt with an amazing open concept plan design to the living area and kitchen area. The home's front facade was updated with contemporary materials and finishes including architectural detailed fibre cement cladding in varying sizes, natural stone entry, aluminium powder coated screens and exposed aggregate driveway adding to the beachside feel for this home. The exterior finish of the home has some interesting angles from an architectural standpoint as you view the home from the various outdoor areas.
The kitchen is finished in cool white shades with a pale blue tile splash back and crisp engineered stone bench tops. High quality windows are used throughout the home to maximise the ocean views and capture the sea breeze into the living area. A large set of bi-fold doors completely open up the living space allowing the fresh sea air to enter through the home.
Three Levels of Luxury
Set over three levels, the main level consisted of kitchen, living, 2 bedrooms and a guest suite.
The upper level included the master-suite and the lower level of the home had a second master suite added with additional kitchenette and living area.
The master ensuite was fitted out with stunning floor to ceiling natural stone, bevelled mirrors above the floating vanity, square-set ceilings, matt black tapware and a large fixed glass window to perfectly frame the amazing ocean views. A cavity slider door retains maximum useable space. A substantial sized walk-in-robe is adjacent to the bathroom for pure convenience.
The renovation / custom build ensured that every room capitalised on the surrounding ocean views, creating a constant connection to nature. Amazing panoramic ocean views have to be seen to be believed with large floor to ceiling windows taking advantage of the natural beauty. Frameless glass balustrades minimise the interruption to the ocean views and are detailed to perfection as you would expect in a home of this type.
The three levels of the home are connected via solid hardwood timber stairs which allow access throughout the structure.
