Another popular option when you live in Coffs Harbour are Bi-Fold windows (and doors!)  These types of windows really open up to the space beyond, such as an entertaining area, or if you live on the Coast, those amazing views!  These types of windows also work well as a serving window if they lead out from the kitchen to an entertaining deck – where you can easily pass food, drinks and more!  

The window doesn’t take up much room when open and creates a connection between two rooms easily.

Fixed Windows

Some may wonder why use a fixed window at all! You can’t open them, so they certainly aren’t used for ventilation purposes.  These windows are used predominantly to allow the natural light in.  Often these types of windows are designed to frame a view. If you’re looking to have a whole wall as a window, a fixed window will provide stability and frame what lies on the outside.   Or you can get creative and work them in with the architectural style of your home and create windows that are arched, raked or even porthole!

Lastly, sliding windows. One of the classic window types of all time, we know that you know how these windows work!  Designs have improved greatly over the years, with lots of versatility, which means they are always a popular choice for many home builders and renovators.
